Seattle Duck Biz Lunch

Join us for a special Duck Biz Group lunch in February as we welcome Dr. Roger J. Thompson, vice president for the Division of Student Services and Enrollment Management at the University of Oregon.

Dr. Thompson will discuss the challenges the University is facing in attracting a diverse population of students, from an ethnic to socioeconomic perspective, as well as how alumni can help the current student experience.

He is responsible for services that contribute to enhancing the student experience, recruitment, retention, and graduation. His portfolio also includes providing online and continuing education for the community.
Thompson leads an organization of more than 1,500 team members and an operating and scholarship budget in excess of $150 million. Further, enrollment at the UO has reached record levels for total enrollment; academic quality; diversity, including ethnicity, socio-economic, and international representation; and freshmen-to-sophomore retention rates during Thompson’s tenure.
